Essential Tips For Bride & Groom

The wedding day is a very important day in everyone’s life. It marks the beginning of a new journey for both the bride and the groom.

There will be a lot of stress regarding the planning, arrangement, and preparation of the wedding. But you need to make sure that the stress does not get to you. Take inputs from your friends and family and create a checklist which encompassess all events and details that need to be taken care of. Divide work between your family members and friends. This way you will have to worry less about everything.

The following are the few things that would help you reduce your stress levels and also ensure that you look the best at your wedding. You could also refer the list to a friend or a family member who is to get married soon.

Take Care of Your Health From a few months before the wedding, make sure that you get ample rest and drink a good amount of water every day. Get quality sleep for around 7 to 8 hours each night, and try to worry as little as possible. To relieve stress and to relax, spend some time meditating or practicing yoga.

Follow a Healthy Diet If you are prone to certain chronic illnesses, try to maintain a proper diet so as to avoid any kind of illnesses or allergic triggers. Eat fruits and vegetables in proper quantities. Make sure whatever you eat has a healthy balance of protein, carbs and vitamins.

Follow Skincare Routines For the bride-to-be: If you are already following a regular skincare routine, then stick to it. Using any new products may lead to a breakout, so avoid doing so if you have 3 or 4 months left for your wedding. For those of you who do not have a regular skincare routine, you should start following one from 6 months ahead. Give yourself ample time to check what brands or products suit your skin and what doesn’t. For the would-be groom: Try to follow a basic skincare routine for a few months leading up to the wedding.

Wedding Makeup If you want to experiment with using different makeup brands, then you have to do that atleast 3-4 months prior to your wedding. Speak to the makeup artist who would be doing your makeup for the wedding and reception, and check whether you two are on the same page regarding your look. Do not try any new products within a few months from your wedding. If by any chance you develop an allergic reaction, it might take time to go away. Prep your Nails

For the bride-to-be: You have nothing to worry about if you have been regularly taking care of your nails. But those who don't, they need to start doing so with a few months in hand. For the would-be groom: Make sure you have clean nails for your wedding. Book manicure and pedicure sessions to groom your nails and also your hands and feet.

Check Your Wedding Attire This tip is the same for both the bride and groom. Check your wedding attire a week in advance. Wear them and see whether they need any kinds of alterations. Due to various reasons, you may put on or lose weight before your wedding. Hence the fitting of the clothes may also need to be changed, depending on when you bought them.

Hire a Wedding Planner And at last but not the least, if your budget allows, hire a wedding event planner. This will reduce most of your stress. Discuss your plans and dreams regarding your wedding and finalse on a budget according to your choice. At times they also arrange for other wedding-related events that take place before and after the wedding. The presence of a wedding planner ensures that the bride and groom and both their families can enjoy the wedding without being worried about how everything will be arranged.

The most important tip amongst all of these is to remain calm and be less anxious about your wedding. Enjoy your big day with a huge smile on your face.

Wishing you and your would-be spouse a very happy and fun-filled life ahead.
